Same price in B&Q. Bought it last year for around £25 good saw . Wondering why price has gone up so much.

I think I actually bought mine from Amazon and it was sub £25.
Good saw though and saved my wife a lot of work. ;-)
It could do with a new large blade though, if anyone sees those cheap.

Come on now!
We all know prices have gone up because of Brexit :man:

In a nutshell, because interest rates are so low.

I think this and the Bosch equivalent which is also often quite cheap both use different proprietary blades that are quite expensive (Bosch ones seem to be £10+ each).
I have one of the Bosch ones, it's a nice saw, but I think I'd look at a generic reciprocating saw if I was replacing it, or perhaps even when I need a new blade - probably something like this...
No idea of the quality, but reviews look good.. http://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb533rsp-750w-reciprocating-saw-240v/17639?

That's not a reciprocating saw.

Been £38 a bit.
Bought one a month ago to remove some small trees (Conifers) and then take the stump below the ground ready for weed membrane and gravel. Does cut through wood very well. Takes a while to cut through than say with a chainsaw but much safer (I'd likely have my arm off if I ever tried to use one of them things)
Replacement blades are relatively expensive but with light use a blade would last a long time anyway
