Another no-brainer. Stock is at many Smyths so try your luck.

Smyths are the new ASDA for when it comes to localised deals!

Though this is ridiculously cheap and I can see in stock at around 15 stores when posting.

Fair play, I see that upon actually looking. Just assumed it was going to be the same as these other individual posts. Not voted either way.

Wolverhampton, Wigan, St Helens, Cheltenham, Friern Barnet, Chelmsford, Team Valley, Chalrton, Wallsend, Newport, Crayford, Edinburgh, Kilmarnock, Newtown Abbey, Newry..... that's your lot. Get in there quick as only one or two available for quick and collect. None near me but good find nonetheless!

Serious question, but is Smyths going bust or something? These "fire-sales" have been increasingly frequent recently...

I asked the same thing the other day. Someone replied saying it won't matter to their profits to massively discount games, as their main business will be children's toys. I guess that's a fair point. Still noticeable though that they discount so much well before anyone else!

Well.....I actually enquired about this in-store. I asked why their 'new' prices are so much better than their pre-owned pricing, which it really is. Some of their PO is shocking. I was told that they're trying to compete with Game and the likes with their 'New' pricing.
But in most cases (I'm not really moaning in the slightest) you will find that a lot of these deals that pop up on the Smyths website are handed out as pre-owned items. I've had some shocking items passed to me from Smyths. The Recore I purchased recently at £5 was clearly either pre-owned or ex-display and I purchased a FO4 from them recently that was stated as PO on the website, when I went to collect it it didn't even have a cover.
You can't really complain for the coin, but it's just nice to be told this info before purchasing.

But Smyths don't have any stores near where I live in London. Sucks to be missing out on sooooo many quality games (that I'll never play).
