The N5300 series is an Argos exclusive model, i would be very mindful of that,
Source of information comes directly from Hisense.
I would steer well clear of theese Argos exclusives, failure rates of Argos exclusive TV's /others are out of this world.

without seeing any major advantages over the cheaper 50M3300 i'm not going to vote either way

The 50M330 I believe has been discontinued. Won't find it anywhere else apart from eBay and the like any more.

You can still buy the 49M3000 from the likes of AO which is the model before the M3300 so I doubt the stock will run out overnight.

Too big. Don't have a 50" run of wall

A 50" TV is only about 44" wide. Up to 55" they look OK in a normal living room. The 65" needs a big space
Is this a better buy than the Phillips 55PUS6401? obviously smaller but i had to return a faulty 55PUS6401 today and need a good size tv tomorrow if poss.

Don't get me wrong, I love Hisense, but they're usually available for better value than this.
At this price, you can get al LG with 4K, HDR and a 6yr warranty.
