I think this is a good price for decent 14" laptop with a FHD which i think is IPS.
Intel Core i3 7100u dual core processor (7th Gen), 8gb ram and 128 ssd. Could be a bigger drive but it's perfect for my girlfriend and ordered yesterday. Decent chassis, back lit keyboard and looks nice.
the only complaints i've really seen is the screen is maybe a little dim for outside use but who does that anyway?

very similar compared to the HP pavilion from JL although the HP does have a IPS screen full HD, 7200U CPU and name brand audio at 500 though. so twenty quid more.

Nice. I have the i5 good and it's a great little laptop. Super fast. Got mine for £370 second hand used twice.

Same price at Amazon if that helps anyone. I'm not voting on this; you can get a 256GB SSD laptop for about £330 but this Full HD Acer may be preferable to some people. amazon.co.uk/dp/…YJ/

This one has a USB-C port (which could be used with something like this as a cheap docking station), a fingerprint sensor and a metal chassis.
I think I'd still prefer the HP one, but both are very decent. Voted hot.

The hp one weighs more. Might be a consideration for some

I have this laptop, got this from very and used staff discount to make £400, fast boot up, plays dota 2 well, all metal. Only problem was CPU fan was making a noise but Acer sorted thus out. Did post a YouTube video of the noise to help others , must have had a bad batch of CPU fans. Using it now and is really quiet and power efficient

Amazing this deal got any heat. I posted up same laptop but for £70 cheaper X) Click. I guess the sheep phenomenon occurred on my deal.

Got a link? My fans are quite audible but does not bother me too much.
