Food poisoning seems to have stopped since they started filming guests and challenging compensation lol

Some really dumb comments on this thread. I've been to Turkey and very close to this resort 8 times in the last 10 years. No terrorism issues. Despite the horrors that have happened at home you still think other countries are riskier. Really? The additional security measures are at the request of UK government. I found it rather unnecessary after going through the usual checks already but it's down to our government I'm afraid.

I stayed here in October last year and most days were high 20's low 30's, nights were colder but they put on fire-pits and it's actually quite nice.

I'm not too sure about October, but Turkey for Xmas sounds good.

no hold luggage or resort transfer, teletext holidays ALWAYS do that, add on hold luggage and the transfer and your soon up to £250+, which is about the usual for this resort at this time. October is fine, 20-25 every day in Turkey so no issues with that and the food is fine, been many times.. not voting either way though as its a bit misleading on the price, its not everything you need so extra costs make it average...

Far too risky still, any anti western country is not worth risking my family

'Western Countries' terrorised Turkey, Morocco, Egypt and Tunisia to scare the tourists away and boost the dead economies of Spain, Greece and Portugal. It wasn't difficult was it?

Yep we'll stay at home instead and take a nice safe city break in maybe London or Manchester. Oh wait ... ... .

I've been 5 times in the last 18 months to this area and felt safer there than I do in England.

Went to Dalaman in June, no issues at all. Strangely the airport security coming back was above and beyond the airport security going out of England. As well as the usual checks, all baggage was searched upon entering the terminal (before check in) and we were frisked and had cabin baggage searched at the gate before we boarded.

Not strange at all. Increased security measures for on board electronic devices since, I believe March, for flights destined to UK from certain countries. Turkey being one of them.
