Looking for a banana parasol for over my little boys paddling pool and came across these. 5 different colours and 2 of them (Blue and pink) have been reduced from £49 to £39, These are 3m wide, the one I was looking at in Argos is 2.5m and £59.99 so going to go with this one. No free click and collect unfortunatley due to size so delivery adds £5.95 to the price but even so £44.95 delivered is a lot better than £59.99! Seem to have good reviews as well. One of the reviewers has put it over their Lay-Z-Spa so its definitley big enough if you wanted it for that.

Good deal but the two colours on offer are not for everyone I suspect.

Factor in also the cost of the weights needed to hold the base down.
They aren't included.

The problem with these is even with base loaded down any breeze and the canopy flies around all over the place. Haven't even bothered putting ours up this year

Agreed. No matter how steady the base, the parasol swayed around so much even in a gentle breeze. Ended up tethering 3 points to the ground and eventually went back to old fashioned central one.

Ditto all of the above comments. Leanover parasols look nice and stylish but they are not as stable as a standard parasol and the price of the base weights doubles the cost.

Agree with the two comments above. We had one, it was the worst one we used by far, a little wind & it swung around madly. Stupid design. Took it back.

More than double of you get heavy enough weights.

I used four paving slabs from B&Q which cost about £2 each.
A big improvement for me was using bungee cord to attach it to the house from the shade. Before this it would move a lot in the wind and a big gust could have been a disaster.

Funnily enough mine broke today. I got it less than 12 months ago! The wind kept turning it around then the center bit snapped. It was only breezy. Not a practical buy.
