These are the sticks that are great for Ryzen aren't they?

They're based on Hynix MFR IC so isn't optimal, but they'll work just fine.
For Ryzen I'd only really recommend Samsung B-Die IC (if you truly want optimal) for which I'd also only recommend G.Skill TridentZ (I went with 4266 rated sticks, running at 3466C14), my choice would be the 3200C14 or C16 kits.
Corsair Vengeance LPX sticks work nicely too, but you want v5.40 (Samsung) not v5.39 (Hynix). So go TridentZ for ease.

I picked a set of these up off ebay for a similar price and they've been great value for money. Heat from me

No worries.
To clarify, the reason I suggest TridentZ is simply as you have assurance over the chips used. Corsair and many others use IC's from multiple manufacturers to keep prices and supply in check.

Shame prices are still wild.
