Bournemouth one was shoking experience, staff did not know anything about spending £40 on food, had to pay extra with my credit card. Never again.

Why hotel deal is PP per person? Do my wife need to pay price for half bed?So lets charge my dog 1/3 of the price...Just £17 each

30 Jul 17#50
If, like me, your wife and your dog are the same, it's still £25 pp, sadly.

Totally agreed. Per-person prices should be banned.
In this case, there's the slight excuse that it's including a meal, but offers that don't should be banned.

Its not right next to the city centre its about a 20-25 minute walk to get to Central station, it's a nice walk in the summer but wouldn't be that nice in the rain or cold after a night in town.

I've stayed in Swansea (a short walk to the centre), Cardiff (a short walk to Whitchurch which has shops, cafes, bars and a train link to Cardiff centre), Newcastle (15 min walk to the Metro which will get you into the city centre in 25 mins).
They are indeed typically out of town - but they are relatively comfortable hotels at a reasonable price on these offers.

After you have selected the hotel & dates, you have the option change the room type to 'family' if they are available. I just tried for Chester & the cost was £55 for family room for one night which includes the dinner for 2. You will need to pay extra for child's dinner. (See T&Cs)
