This is as cheap as Ive ever seen an Xbox one go for. Hope it helps someone out.

How do games consoles get to a "fair" condition? Do people throw them about their houses or use them as footballs?

A mate of mine bought a preowoned from instore, good condition. Packed in within 3 months. None available in store to replace, so they gave him a new S version. He couldn't be happier.
Smythstoys are selling 1tb xboxe one for 120 (reduced from 150)

yeah I spoke to game in store today about matching the web price but they couldn't however they would accept a return or swap the Xbox for another so if the price falls again I will probably buy

I know, I don't see how an object that lives under your TV from purchase day ends up looking like it has been used as a skateboard!
People probably put controllers on top of the console, the glossy part gets scratched badly sadly. I never realised until it was too late.

Shockingly good price, especially if it really does include a 12mth warranty.
An Xbox One S bundle is probably worth the extra - so you don't have to use a grubby pad for one - if you can still get an S with 2-3 new release games thrown in, either to re-sell, or just keep if you wanted them anyway then the S is still good value. Not as cheap as this, but close, and the S has the benefit of being relatively future-proof, offering HDR gaming and doubling as a 4K media box for video streaming and 4K discs.

The only thing that makes you a mug is allowing yourself to be manipulated into focusing your anger on the isolated examples of large families who take advantage and get a few thousand quid, instead of the Government who waste billions of pounds of our money giving work to their corporate buddies, who in turn will give them well paid cushy jobs when they need them.

My OG Xbox One sat in a cabinet for 18 months and still managed to get scratched somehow.

The tops on these old ones scratch really easy. The launch one I have is absolutely littered with em despite being in a cabinet its whole life. Only time anything went on it was the occasional game case or the controller when it was off. But even then, it looks like I've taken a knife to it. Either way, a One for £100 is brill if you're on the fence even if the £200 deals are subjectively better value.

It's a shame though that programmes like that are biased, having grew up on benefits and been on them when living in a small town where there honestly was almost no jobs (as in more unemployed than new jobs) most people I knew on benefits who wasn't a stereotype was struggling to even put food on table and keep warm, then even I got annoyed how I would see stereotype drink/drug abusers boast about everything they got and see them come out of nice properties in town, have bus passes etc, I for example when I was last on jsa shortly after the current government got in was meant to do a 6 month training course aimed at disabled people on benefits, the government in their "wisdom" decidedto cut funding for it so I spend another 2 years on jsa despite that course offering a permanent job which was a few thousand above national minimum wage! Then people still assumed I was a lazy benefit scrounger and making excuses.

Not the Xbox S, in only "fair" condition, and realistically will need a new controller (£40) unless you enjoy other people's hand crust. Cold.

I was teasing. Wondered what response(s) I'd get... second hand/ used is fine as long as it has been well looked after (controllers aside - I would expect them to need replacing with new but then head over to the Tesco deal and get 2 games and a new controller for £35.99!)

Heat added for the deal, at this price there seems little point bothering with the Xbox 360, sadly my sons wants to play with his friends and they are all playing GTA V. When you realise the controllers are around £30 each this is an awesome deal. I might buy a third!
