Great price I got mine from homebase for £259, I love it easy to use light weight and NO CABLES, battery charges quickly and folds up small

looking for a cordless lawn mower. there has been a few reviews indicating the battery is not very good and you need a spare. which would bring this price above the £200 mark. is that still a good deal? are there any lawnmowers better for the same price?

Anyone have info on the battery situation? Tried to mow the lawn yesterday using petrol mower & I have a leak...petrol everywhere!! Tempted with the electric route but needs to last really at least 30 mins?

Question:
How long does the battery last before recharging (approx)
Answer:
A full charge just about cuts my Lawn, taking about thirty minutes, leaving the edges to be strimmed afterwards. But recharging the battery only takes three hours, allowing the Lawn to be cross cut in one day.

20-25 minutes depending on length of grass

Does my lawn easily. If grass is very long or wet best strim it first but lasts a good thirty mins

I would say about 40 minutes. It did my lawn twice before I needed to recharge it. I love the mower, wished I had got it years ago.

Depends on the toughness and length of the grass. Thirty minutes I would hope for normally.

It takes me 20 minutes to cut the lawn and I charge the battery before each cut to avoid the need to stop halfway!
This is using the battery on Quiet mode.

it depends on the length of the grass and also if the grass is very wet. I have a patch of lawn approx. 20ft x 60ft and a full charge does this area with no problem even if a bit wet. I bought a second battery just in case.

"No matter the grass length or condition, the WG776E can handle it..." That would be an interesting one for Trading Standards!

They don't say if it handles it well or badly ... just that it handles it :stuck_out_tongue:
£170 including strimmer. That looks a very good deal - would be a better suited to me garden as even with an extension cable I struggle to get the thorns at the back.

Assume half the time for the eventual deterioration of the battery.
And factor in replacement costs, the bigger worry is if the battery standard exists in the future.
