Many, many poor reviews of Wiley Fox's customer service. I'll pass.

Contacted the customer service department this morning. Had a reply within the hour. I would say that's pretty good.

I've had my Wileyfox over half a year now.
Best phone I've ever had. Battery life nearly 3 days for moderate use. Latest version of Android and security patches to the OS that roll out to the phone pretty promptly. Unlike the mainstream phone manufacturers who just abandon phones with regards important security updates.
My model was about a hundred notes. If you've more money than sense then go for a sammy/apple phone. Otherwise save your cash for beer tokens and get a fox.

Bang per buck is outstanding for these phones. They are now all on android 7.1.1 which is pretty rare. Also having 3gb of ram is great. Support is now working well and the phones are from a UK company. Carphone warehouse just started selling them too.

Do you own one? I'm curious to know how long ago did they improve the terrible customer support? I may be tempted to buy it if they've sorted out the cyanogenmod interface problems as well.

Bit like saying Apple is a US phone maker.

At the end of the day, if their CS/support is so terrible you may as well go ahead and get a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 3GB/32GB/5.5 FHD screen/metal body direct from China for similar money....both phones are made in China after all. A far better phone for your hard-earned.
Can't open the link on the phone for some reason. What price is it giving there?
And idea on the difference in the models between Note 4, Note 4x, Note 4 LTE or are they the same thing just added detail in the description? What about global non-global version? Thinking about taking a punt with one of these.

I wouldn't worry about customer support from WileyFox as Amazon is the seller so use their support.

there is now no Cyanogenmod OS - it is an almost vanilla Android with some modding by Wileyfox - and yes I have had a Swift 2+ for 6 months now

I own a swift 2+. I bought it in Jan when they had announced they would remove Cyanogen and upgrade to Nougat. That happened seamlessly, and I now have pretty much the latest version anywhere. Support are now responsive by email (I had to return the bundled case as a tab over the power button broke). This was 2 weeks ago.
The fact that they said they would upgrade the whole of their range to Nougat and have done it is unprecedented in the mobile business. Nobody does that.
The fact that it is UK company and not some dodgy Chinese reseller made a big difference for me. Sure they are made in china, but you have more hope of sorting it if the people you buy from are here.

Managed to open it on the phone browser on HUKD. Is there any difference between the different names? Which one do I go for? Global version LTE?

The Global Version includes Band 20 so you get the full gamut of 4g networks in the UK. The 3GB RAM/32GB version is115 quid in Gold (slightly more for Grey or Black). Even the 4GB RAM/64GB ROM Global Version is only 140 quid. (if you are prepared to pay 140 quid also look at the superb Lenovo ZUK Z2, which I am using as my daily driver). Amazing spec for the money but just remember no effective warranty and chance of customs (VERY slim if you choose free shipping).
Recommend you get a 6 quid MOFI flip case (impregnated with thin steel in the screen cover for extra protection) and a tempered glass screen protector (start at just over a quid!) at the same time.
Swift2 (and 2 Plus) models have just been updated to android 7.1.2 with 1 June 2017 security updates as of 23/07/17

Is this the 1st Gen Swift? About to replace mine, dying pixels and abysmal battery life after a few months on both mine and my husband's phone. He already went back to his LG G2. I'm going to try to get back some of what we spent through CEX and won't be buying a wileyfox again.
