Been waiting for this to come back in stock but it sells out very fast due to usually very limited stock of the 6TB version.
Okay, I guess being recertified will put some people off but 6TB for £104.99 is still a very good price for the amount of storage. Use CODE: WDSTORECPN (£10 off £100 spend)
3TB & 4TB also currently available for £72.99 & £79.99
30 day return period and 6 month warranty. Thanks to barmrest for pointing out the discount code is per order so if you're wanting two then order each separately!

Buying a "recertified" hard drive for use with valuable data is not a sensible buying decision let alone a hot deal.

Same BS comments on every re-certified WD thread. If you don't want to buy one then move along, there is a market for them and people do buy them. Ridicule all you want.

Heated, great price for this amount of storage. This deal will get a bunch of recertified drive naysayers but ignore em, this is hot!

Don't know if it is a Red inside, reluctant to open mine existing one in case I make the warranty void by snapping some bits of plastic but it's a single 3.5" with standard sata interface so you can take it out and install elsewhere.
Some guides on Youtube on how to open the enclosures

they appear to be wd green drives.
they would be fine for plugging in and doing a backup and then switched off.
but for my use which is a media server via a NAS, I would be cautious and get wd reds.
even though I have used wd greens in my nas for 5 years ! I would not. want to do that again.

What's your opinion on the my cloud mirror drives ..
the description says 6tb so would that be two 3tb drives. Just wanting something I can access with my phone when I'm away. What do you guys think ?
