bought this for £27 from Amazon warehouse when they had a further 20% off warehouse goods. it's not bad, but the default pad isn't very good at cleaning anything that's solidified

This is the Vax S86-SF-C right? Reviews on Amazon seem less favourable than the -CC model which I've been waiting for a deal on. Anyone got this model and can give a non-derp Amazon review?

Oh my days, I meant the -C is possibly better than the -CC, it has variable steam control. Dunno whether to cancel my order or not now!

i brought this one for £43.99 from amazon when they had a lightning deal. it's pretty good..i think its better for light use on laminate floors & taps etc..i used it on the kitchen floor quite a few times & although it did work it was quite hard trying to remove tough stains

I've had 2 different vax steam mops- each lasted about a year before they broke. I need a new one, but i'm not sure if i'd buy a vax again.
