Cheapest ever price for The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Afterbirth and Afterbirth+. Always been in love with this game, starting from the original. Might not be everyone's cup of tea but I know a lot of people love it too. Would definitely recommend the base game at least, but the DLC does add a large amount of content.
When Isaac’s mother starts hearing the voice of God demanding a sacrifice be made to prove her faith, Isaac escapes into the basement facing droves of deranged enemies, lost brothers and sisters, his fears, and eventually his mother.
Gameplay The Binding of Isaac is a randomly generated action RPG shooter with heavy Rogue-like elements. Following Isaac on his journey players will find bizarre treasures that change Isaac’s form giving him super human abilities and enabling him to fight off droves of mysterious creatures, discover secrets and fight his way to safety.

I don't need it, dont really intend on playing it, but at £3.73 it would be rude not to.

Bit of an exaggeration there. £30 at most retailers.

Heat as it's cheap. Not a fan of the game though, never could get into it. Enter the Gungeon is far better.
Gotta pay that Nintendo tax!

I heard Afterbirth + really ruins the 'first time experience'. Is there a way to turn off specific DLC? I suppose you could just choose not to download it.

You can do that with every Steam game. Just uncheck DLC you dont want.

I've put 270 hours into this game, it's by far my favourite rouge-like. Buy it, play it, rage quit. Repeat steps 2 and 3.

Not sure thats the case, physical release which you can sell in the future, plus the fast its a portable version of a great game. I personally wouldn't play Isaac at home that much especially on my PC, but on the go its a great time filler.

I'm not sold on the switch as a portable yet. I largely use it docked or in table mode as I find it uncomfortable to play handheld. I'm hoping they release better shaped joycons. That said I will buy Enter the Gungeon day one on switch just so i can play it on the move discomfort be damned! .
I'm actually hoping Apple rips off the switch and makes controllers for an ipad mini of some sort.
