Better off throwing a picnic rug on the ground and dozing on that instead.

Plant two trees, wait for 30 years to grow, then use hammock.
The most difficultand dangerous part of a hammock is finding something to hang it from. Better off buying one with a metal frame included.

FYI, that stand is rated to max 100kg. There are stands available for a little bit more money (£50 for the stand only) rated to 200kg. That's the one I'm getting as I have a double hammock to put up.

spend a little extra and get a parachute hammock, pretty cheap on ebay.

I am sure that part of a hammocks charm and allure is that you might f*****g fall out when getting in..........or your poorly tied rope may fail at any time!............. :laughing:
