Seems a reasonable price for a kinetic. I believe strap adjustment will be carried out free at an Argos store.

Real men adjust their own straps :sunglasses:
Seriously though 20 mins work and you do it right and get to keep the links

No it isn't. Kinetic uses a dynamo to charge a capacitor/battery which then powers a quartz movement. Automatic uses a fully clockwork movement which winds a spring.

I see your 15 years and raise you 17 years. I did have to get the capacitor changed once though, apparently the original was poor quality. It only cost a few pounds.

Argos are terrible at strap adjustment, just a heads up. Took them 3 watches wasted out of their stock to get an adjustment done right

I have managed to talk myself out of it. But a seiko kinetic for this price is incredible.
