Ive played my fair share of AAA tripe and paid £50+ for the privilege (NMS looking at you) for hundreds of hours of sameness..
As I have matured with games you come to realise the experince is what matters, no longer do I bother with COD or FIFA's but prefer the originality of Binding of Isaac's or Journey's, while at the same time they fit in with my family and work related lifestyle offering me a quick blast of fun with some emotional attachment for 30 minutes - 1 hour.
Sure you get great AAA games still, Bloodborne/DS, Zelda BOTW, Mario Galaxy etc.. but they are few and far between..
So do not complain for £1.20 it offers a small experince something you can hold onto and take with you, or you can go and play 'Generic Military FPS 7' and moan about these titles like entitled immature children, your choice.

Honestly, in a world of AAA map-mopping time sinks like Assassin's Creed and Witcher, short length is actually a selling point for me. And it is only £1.20.
Out today on Xbox one, this 'overwhelmingly positive' game on Steam, with plenty of 10/10 reviews is half price for the first 10 days of release on Xbox one.
It's £1.99 on steam and occasionally goes on sale sub £1, but for those with an Xbox One who want a short (approx 15 mins run through) but enjoyable experience, £1.20 seems like a good price.
Great for achievement hunters too with 10 to try and get. I'll post achievements in comments.

"Half an hour of uninterrupted quality playtime" are they joking?

It isn't either/or though. I don't always like particularly long games either, but there's short, and then there's this .
