Trading this mess in tomorrow to fund DiRT 4. Such a shame to be honest. Despite all the negativity I was genuinely looking forward to playing this.
Don't get me wrong, once you get past the shady character models and the sub par storyline, I'm sure there could well be a game in there somewhere. For EA Access, or Xbox One owners in general, I would honestly advise you to await an inevitable incoming entry to the vault.
I played it on an Xbox One S with HDR 10 and the game looks abysmal. The glare is out of control and the whole game just looks completely washed out.

I have ea access with 10 hour trial and was thinking of installing it this weekend. Had held off thinking the latest patches had solved the problems from launch.
Is it really that bad still?

Damn that's really sad to hear, I didn't pick it up with the Prime Now £10 off, instead went for all groceries. I know the game has got some hate but I was hoping I'd love it when I finally got it, perhaps I'll keep waiting for a better price

It could be £2.89 and I'd STILL avoid this utter turkey.
Sincerely,
Mass Effect original trilogy fan.

I played the 10 hour trial on EA Access, although it was around 2 once you arrived at the content that was locked out. It did suffer really badly then but I just wanted to play it so much.
I purchased it from Amazon last week for £29.99 but used a £10 off £40 spend to get £10 worth of stuff free, so it wasn't too bad. But honestly mate, it really is that bad I waded through it trying so hard to live with the graphical issues, but I just couldn't. I actually had it on last night, and that was the final straw.
I put The Elder Scrolls Online on after I had finished with it which is also HDR and the graphical differences were instantly noticeable. Have a go with the trial on EA Access, see how you get on.

I really enjoyed the gameplay and exploration aspects of this, combat was fun, yes the character models and graphics issues were there but they'll update and fix those. The main game is good, story okay. The best parts were getting to do personal quests for my squad as it felt like Mass Effect of old but this is a spin off and feels like it.

Good deal though I expect this to be less than £20 in a month.
