4K Multi HDR
Enjoy premium picture quality. The Panasonic TX-50EX700B 50" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV delivers vivid, richly-detailed images for a cinema-like feel. Wide Colour Spectrum technology enhances onscreen colours for more memorable viewing.
HDR creates more atmospheric and realistic lighting - blacks are deeper, highlights crisper and sharper. The TX 50EX700 offers Multi HDR compatibility, so it can activate HDR10 for most online and Blu-ray HDR content, and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) for upcoming HDR broadcasts by the BBC and Sky.
There's also a five year guarantee if you register the product with Panasonic. That's assuming they've stock in store near you.

It has what reviews call 'psuedo' local dimming, 50hz panel that struggles to reach 350 nits so the HDR experience is limited. The DX750 described above is better.

Not much in HDR, you'd want the DX902 if that's important.

Still only 8bit though. When cranking up the cash beyond this point I'd start looking for an actual HDR screen with colours and brightness to show it.

Beyond the Samsung KS7/8/9000 series which is hard to come by now, there isn't much this side of £1000 that I know of.
