Went to my local tesco this evening and got two of these as they are my favourite biscuits (the vanilla one) but the other flavours are also half price.
I would stock up more but I would just eat them all and not be able to resist them so I managed to exert some self control and only got two packs, and have not yet touched them even though I have had them for 30 minutes now. Lol.

my husband loves cheese cakes but i don't like cheese cakes at all as to me, it is like eating chalk. lol.
i do love cakes though, my favourite has got to be cream cakes. yum yum (y)

I don't like Oreos but I use them as a base for Mississippi mud pie. I use hairy bikers recipe. It is beyond fabulous

i never liked oreo but i got a pack of vanilla flavour one about two months ago and was so surprised that i loved them. now they are my favourite biscuits. i don't like the normal oreo ones.
never heard of a mud pie, that doesn't sound very appetising for a name. hairy bikers also doesn't sound very appealing!

These are regularly 2 for a pound in pound shops.

i don't like food from the pound shops as they taste off to me. i am sure they don't come from the same manufacturer or they are getting near their best buy date or whatever, but i can definitely taste the difference.

Who has ever paid £1.08 for a packet of Oreos?

at the normal price, this is of no value. yet people must do. i don't buy it at full price because there are other things to eat that are of better value and tastes just as nice or much better.
Have you watched eat well for less on bbc1? People are always saying they can taste the difference between their normal brands and unbranded items. They are almost always wrong. Shows what creatures of habit we are

I often can't eat unbranded products. I am so particular about food, almost psychological issue. I must have exactly what I want or I can't eat it.
Always been like this. People thought I was joking when I was discussing this on misk, but I wasn't!
Not only do I notice difference in taste of food form the pound shop on branded items, I also notice difference in branded cleaning products from that to the supermarkets. I think they get them from different parts of Europe.

I am not at all brand loyal. The only exception is fairy platinum dishwasher tablets. I'm not saying I buy the cheapest of everything, I buy what I think is the best value or I like the taste of best.

Best tasting mud I know of and the only thing to make Oreos palatable
