£280 for one night in a hotel?
You could have a whole holiday abroad in the sun for that.
Cold.

Yup, agreed. This is not a hot deal. I found rooms available at these hotels for £99 too so I'm not sure who they're kidding charging £180 for a 3 course meal and champagne.

3 course meal and breakfast is included. 3 courses there would set you back £50 per head easily. Also Champagne is included.
It's a very unique place. It's not cheap but it's not aimed at people looking for cheap.

To be fair you would pay the same at one of the theme park hotels and they make Ibis budget look posh.

Interesting - but NOT a 'hot deal'. A mod should know better!

I looked at this place before and the reviews are mixed and they are constantly offering deals via groupon. There must be a reason for this?
It hasn't got particularly good reviews. This post is misleading and should be removed.

I stayed here a few years ago after winning as a prize through work.
To be honest it was good not great the rooms are very plush and for a couple having some romantic time together i can see the draw.
For me personally being a corporate stay i spent most of the time getting drunk at the cocktail bar and i could have stayed in a shed and it would have made no difference to my stay

"...AND breakfast..."
I'm guessing the AND for breakfast is because it's the most important meal of the day - albeit cheapest part?!

Having eaten at the Stadhampton version, I'd steer clear of the restaurants too!"
Service was awful and they had no bread anywhere in the place (either that or they were too lazy to find some). Not good when you've got garlic butter sauce to mop up.
Rest of the food was passable, if you're paying local pub prices, but not when you're paying £20 a dish and then £4.50 for each veg!
Only one word for the place....pretentious.
