Amazing price for this kayak given the time of year. I have this one plus also the K2 Explorer which my partner and daughter use but I use this one and it's excellent and I can't fault it. Very comfortable and quick to inflate - takes about five minutes with the provided pump. Excellent also for fishing which I also use it for.
The Intex Challenger K1 inflatable kayak is perfect for use on lakes and calm rivers. This one man inflatable kayak is lightweight with a small pack size for easy transportation. Has bright colourful graphics for high visibility, made from rugged vinyl and constructed with an inflatable I-beam floor.

thats nearly 16 stone so covers most of the population - Im guessing the majority of people over 16 stone will be overweight so good incentive to lose a bit

Make them into a catamaran - or a fatamaran, if you will.

I was looking at these on Charles Direct yesterday along with the two seater Intex kayaks for £80. Would anyone know which is better the Challenge K2 or the Explorer K2?
My kids are aged 7 and 8. So it's either 2 x 2 seater, or maybe I should just get 4 x 1 seater's?

100kg = 15.7stone.. seems reasonable for the majority people

Take your mobile phone and have 999 on speed dial if using out of your depth. Don't forget a life jacket and whistle.

You need 999 on speed dial? Surely, so, it would take longer than litterally, actually dialling, obviously.

In your situation I would get 2 k2 exsplorers or like me a k1 and k2 as you could easily get 2 kids that age and an adult in a k2 depends if you want to be in k1 on your own. You will need a family license from British canoe association for 2 boats £60 pounds a year covers everywhere even Norfolk broads.
Other options are more expensive ones which will carry all of you like a sevy.

35 for licence 60 is for a family so 60 gets 2 adults a licence, you also get 3rd party insurance included.
