Looks similar to one I got a few years ago when they were selling them off for a fiver. Took lots of abuse, only made it my backup drill when the forward/reverse switch snapped off near the base so it was a pain to change modes.

Very bad product and poor quality.

This cannot be a true 'impact' drill as it is not SDS, the bits would drop out in seconds.

I assume by "impact drill" they mean "hammer drill" (forward-backward hammer motion) as against the rotary impact action of an impact driver. You don't need SDS for a hammer drill - there are many high-quality examples of non-SDS hammer drills.

I've been working with 'hammer drills' & 'impact drills' for 40 years & I know I would never class a 'hammer drill' as an 'impact drill'. Unless the bit is secured by SDS or similar means, any impact on a key type chuck would knock the bit out in seconds.

Bosch sell a range of what they describe as "impact drills" - none of which are SDS. I'd still call them hammer drills. I'm not sure what you're describing - do you mean an impact driver?
