Hi , I bought this bed 15 days ago. it's not very great quality bed but it's ok for people who are not heavyweight. The original price was very inflated price so don't consider this is a great bargain.

I bought a bed from this range last year. I think I paid £180 and even for that money, I think the bed is rubbish.
The material looks as if a blind man has cut it, the stitching is awful and corners are not finished properly.
The instruction to build the bed were not much use, someone had marked the panels in chalk to highlight were brackets should be attached, there were no pre-drilled holes.
The base of the bed is pretty much like cardboard, so you can't really put much in the storage area.

Any hygena furniture I've bought has been pretty pathetic.
I also bought one two weeks ago for £219. I'm also proud to say that at 61 and female I assembled it all by myself. Was hard work and the metal base was heavy lifting it on and off through trial and error but I got there in the end. I won't be doing anymore though lol

If you bought it two weeks ago ask for price difference. I phoned them up two days ago they refunded me the difference.

Think I paid about £150 for this last year. It's ok for my son but it is a pig to assemble. Not difficult but awkward and instructions are rubbish. 18 months on it is still in one piece and it looks fine but I wouldn't pay more than this for it

No you can't remove the headboard. To be fair it's quite a good bed . Hunt4deal just seen your reply yes I will do thanks fingers crossed . A lot of the cheaper ones just have a piece of material for the base , this had a strong hardboard or whatever it was . Must have been strong as I was in and out of the bed when assembling in order to screw everything ( the mind boggles eh) and like I said never again so no brothels for me thank you lol.
