I ordered one from Curry's yesterday for the same price and thought it was a good deal. I was just about to post it as a deal and thought I'd check first.

Check information about hisense online. We've just joined the many who have returned their hisense tv as it didn't work properly from the start.

What was the problem with yours?
The Hisense posts on hukd have been pretty positive and that's what swayed me.
I'll see tomorrow myself.

Mine went back today too... latest firmware cripples the EPG, has various lockups and loss of control when using apps.
IMHO the entire range should be withdrawn.

Sounds like our experience. Continuous lock ups, wouldn't even switch off if you pressed the buttons on the tv. Man who collected it for return said that they were collecting loads for return. Sharp are suing hisense for selling shoddy TVs badged as sharp.

Look ugly and hardware will not live up to expectations as far as I can see. All you will get is a look of sympathy.

Look ugly? Look of sympathy? Thanks for your valuable input do you actually own the tv?

Looking through the internet I could see nothing but praise for Hisense,.. I guess I will find out on Friday.
£299 for a 43inch 4K is pretty damn good, no it's not going to break records, but for under £300 what are you expecting?

I was one of the ones who returned it...bought it for my 2nd reception room (which is hardly used) The picture between this and my other set was night and day, and even though it wouldn't be used too much I decided to spend the extra for a more decent set.
The OS for the smart functions are laggy too.

Will see how I get on with mine. I presume I am well within my rights with Tesco to return, should I not think performance is up to scratch? even though I have used the item?
