short wheel base is crap btw, the lifting height just isn't good enough. I bought one some time ago and replaced it with a Clarke model , much better for allowing the axle stands at full height

The cup that contacts the car is not the best either. Ideally you want a much larger one, with a nylon pad on top of it to protect the paint.
Still it's a very good price.

I use a hockey puck; many others do the same if you look at 'similar items' of trolley jacks on amazon.
