Season pass for GoW 4 is mostly for access to maps in custom games, and cosmetic stuff, right?

If you play it online, you might want them. To be absolutely honest, though, I can't see you getting into the online at this late stage! Not the friendliest/easiest community to get involved with, from my own experience
