Even with 2 step authentication, I wouldn't trust Sony with ANY payment details. PayPal, card or otherwise. They are not capable of keeping them safe, and have a terrible attitude if something does go wrong. Be careful.

you deserve a £5 reward if you can link anything to your PlayStation account, I tried to buy mirrors edge a few weeks back, and it was as if they didn't even want my money, my card details where exactly right, and my PayPal password, but no matter what I tried they wouldn't accept anything

I also redeemed mine on console. I'm sure there's no near-future time limit on the credit as I've never known PSN credit to have a time limit of any kind.
When signing up for this deal a couple of weeks ago I would have considered leaving paypal on, but given the recent large scale error with paypal chargebacks causing 'thousands' of PSN accounts to be banned, I removed the paypal payment method as soon as I redeemed the code. For those of us that use this site we know buying redeem codes online is nominally better, and it's still less risk.

Yup just got mine too- no email though it just popped up as a notification on the console itself. Didn’t notify via the app or anything for those who might be curious or worried they haven’t had it. Just manually check your console

Sony. I know you read these. You suck balls. I use PayPal and you reward those that don't use it. we are close to parting ways as no matter what I do, your stupid payment system will not accept my credit card details even though they are 100% correct. Maybe storing my details on your overhacked system isn't a great idea anyway.
