Formula Renault experience is a good price - you'll get about 10 mins driving time. Perfect for a F1 enthusiast who's never done this kind of thing before. Short lap, you're unlikely to exceed 80mph on that track and you'll probably stay in the same gear throughout.
If you enjoyed that kind of experience, then go and do a Palmersport experience day. Pricey at £800ish per person but it really is the best driving experience I've ever been on. Done it for 3 times now - great day where you're actively pushed to the limit.
