You would need to have a screw loose not to buy one for basic DIY (ha screw loose and its a screw driver, see what I did there, the weekend has landed!)

At 3.6v these aren't up to much to be honest. I assemble quite a lot of flat pack furniture and this wouldn't last an hour. I use a Bosch 10.8v driver. It cost about 7 times as much but will last 7 times longer.

the gearing in these is nylon, only for very light work.
