Ordered for in-laws, used number posted by dreamzmaster1 and went for the home toolkit. Toolkit comes a few days after the machine via post. Thanks!

I have the DC19 and it's good and serves it purpose, my two complaints with it though are the short hose (extension can be bought) and the short power cord (4m).
How old is this Model? (Thinking 5/6 years isn't?) and isn't buying this buying old tech when the world is trying to move towards handheld/portable cordless vacuum cleaner???? Any thoughts?
