I bought this last week for £1.00 @ Homebase in Hamilton Retail Park. Seemed to be the normal price. Thought this was really good bargain too. again didn't seem to be discount or offer.

It IS national and £1 is the standard price for this item. Many of Homebase items are the cheapest compared to BnQ, Wickes and others. They've slashed their prices since the takeover.
I didn't buy this myself as I didn't know what I'd use it on...????
