As far as basic TVs go this looks like pretty good value for money!

Only if you watch 4k, I would think there is a risk of it looking bad if you mostly watch 1080p.

At which entry level should we purchase 4K? What do you know about the multiple HDR standards for 4K and their relation to price?

On the contrary 1080p looks better on 4k . No lag , more signal bandwidth. 4k is not just 4k screen ,the whole electronic s behind is better and faster as well.

Except that it's not and you're falling for the usual sales hype about the latest thing - a 4K screen does not automatically equate to better electronics than a Full HD TV. That simply is not true and no lag and being faster is not a given fact either....it's just untrue. Arguably the best screen for Full HD is a Full HD screen as it will map pixel to pixel 1 to 1 with no upscaling. If you're being pedantic that is.
A bottom of the range 4K TV can not be assumed to ever process images better than a Full HD TV, it's just not that simple. Cheap electronics is still cheap electronics regardless of the resolution. Some Full HD TVs will definitely give superior images than some 4K screens, when displaying Full HD. But as you're totally against any actual discussion on the matter I'm wasting my time here.

Cheap big panel. Unless you need 4k this will do fine. Outstanding bedroom telly

TV's shouldn't be in the bedroom, the bedroom is for sleeping and sex and nothing more. Each to their own of course

Heated! I've told a lot of folks on here the Digihome and Polaroid brands are comparable in quality to the Samsung and Sonys imo! Heated! Heated!

Tesco ebay outlet is selling 43" telly's (LG and sharp) brand for this price... would that not be a better option to go for? Those are refurbished but look like customer returns at the most.... surely those would be better brands than digihome... ??

You'll be surprised what people have gone on and done from bedrooms.
This is a good price and 4K is a hype, had to return an oled because it made sd channels un-watchable.

I doubt watching TV in there furthered anyone's career.
