I just picked up one of these cables at an Aldi in Derby. It is heavy and seems well made. No, the pins are arranged differently. Wouldn't be a good thing if you could.
If you are competent you could change the plug & socket to 110v ones if you wanted as just the flex would normally cost around £20 or more.
