ha, I like that you say not in paper anymore. they haven't been for donkeys. our kids love them (plastic ones) I used to love them when I was a kid too.

I'm adding heat, for the nostalgia mainly, but this is an amazing price. I got talking to someone in Morrisons last week who told me you can make your own sherbert as supermarkets have started selling flavoured icing sugar, to which you add a bit of citric acid. Not that I'm planning on making 1kg of sherbet, but interesting...

Yeah you can, sure it's only 2 or 3 ingredients too.. my mum made some when I was a teenager but it was abit too bitter.. she never measured anything ever lol I agree it would be fun to try it ourselves, dip a lolly in it!

Oh for god sake get a grip.. it's a sherbert treat which I and thousands of other people ate with moderation as a child. I didn't get 3 and eat them all in one go! nor do I think any other people with any common sense will eat it as anything other then a treat. Everybody knows sweets and treats are full of sugar and carbs etc.. that's why they are treats!

Lol, I think there's a lot to be said for having a sherbet fountain with a measured amount in tho
