It's £40. If your building some gates/fencing for home a 10 minute run time isn't too bad. It'll still save you a fortune over paying someone else to make them for you.

not the top quality tools but same priced tools from a different make are crap proportionally. 10min. continuous welding it is a lot and during pauses is got plenty time to cool. my very cheap old welder switches off for a max of 5 minutes but rarely and depends what I do

Ark welding is a skilled job. Don't underestimate the difficulty particularly on car gauge steel. Down hand on heavier gauge is a possibility but not structural.

It's a leftover from about 3 weeks ago.

Decent price, cheaper than a couple of car batteries in series and probably does a better job.

I remember looking at the box on the shelf, it said something like 75 to 100amp welding current range. Meaning its going to be difficult on very thin (car body type) material and naff all penetration on anything over 2mm thickness. You would be limited to 1.6mm to 2mm welding electrodes of 6018 type (as the open circuit voltage of the welder won't strike an arc on any rods requiring mlre than 50v ocv). The duty cycle from cold will let you weld about three 2mm electrodes, after each thermal intervention you could just about weld one more rod after waiting 10 minutes each time.
It's enough go give you arc eye but little else in return for £40.

Been in lidl today seen those but I think on the box it said from 30-80A so maybe its different product now?

It was the barn shaped on I saw. They did a rectangular one prior to this of a slightly lower output.
Opening post
Pretty decent deal considering some spend far more for a Welder
Also comes with the accessories such as the shield , shoulder strap, chipping hammer with wire brush
