There's a link for a free sample on the AquaMax site, so I'll give it a try and see what it's like - thanks OP

I thought I'd heard of the name somewhere - I'm pretty sure I got a sample of theirs a while back (though I would have given it to my niece).
Violetta on MSE says they find ordinary Aqueous Cream stings their skin and they found this much gentler after picking it up in Poundland after I posted, they haven't commented on results yet, though.

I saw the thread on MSE, and was surprised to see Aqueous Cream has SLS in; that led to me discovering that it's no longer recommended for eczema, which came as quite a surprise, although I haven't used it for years as it's just not powerful enough for me.
Knowing my Poundland, they won't get this in anyway, so even if I like the sample I probably won't be able to get any....

Searched loads of Poundlands - no dice.
Finally found it in King St Hammersmith - bought 5. Really good product as it eases my itchiness and redness big time.

I haven't seen it in my Poundlands for a few weeks, were usually to be found (in Glasgow) in Argyle Street and Union Street - but my niece really likes it.
Remember you can get Aveeno (my niece's favourite) prescribed on the NHS, if that works for you, too.

Hm, maybe it is now the regular price, though AquaMax announce it's "99p" in Poundland http://www.aqua-max.co.uk/aquamax-emollient-cream-now-available-in-poundland-stores-at-99p/ (must be a mistake :stuck_out_tongue:)
