Bought one of these a year or so ago and discovered (before opening mine) that I don't like it. Other than giving it away as a gift, is there any way to sell a bottle of whisky legally?

There is a whisky buy/sell/trade group on Facebook, but it's not very active. There's also a few Scotch Whisky forums which have sub-forums for buying/selling, but with a standard whisky like this you're going to struggle to get any decent price for it, especially when you factor the hefty postage. Personally I'd sell/swap it locally with a friend.

Is this any good? I've read some reviews and they say its harsh, and others say its really smooth, its non peaty which I like but not wanting a harsh whisky. The smoothest I've tasted to date is the 12yr old Hibiki which is a rare or expensive find these days, so far haven't managed to find something under the £50 mark which matches the Hibiki for a smooth taste - have yet to try the Harmony. Havent tasted Aberlour 12 yet

It's OK but nothing 'special'. Better than Aberlour 10 by quite a bit which I find harsh.
I suppose it would depend on what your definition of harsh is but I'd recommend Glenlivet 15 as being pretty decent and often around £35. Also Aberfeldy 12, which is quite sweet.

You can't really go wrong for £22. Very sherry cask influenced. A real Xmas whisky. Ralfy recently did a spot on review on YouTube, you check it out.

IMO the one stand out flavor of this is red Apple it wasn't particularly smooth but not fire water either, its down the middle in that regards. I had some 2 nights ago so the flavor is quite fresh in my mind. take that as you will, everyone's tastes are different, I liked it and would buy again at the right price.
