Beware any Lloyds Banking Group customer or TSB, one call from the bank and all incoming calls and texts don't work until a sim reissue.
Apart from that Plusnet is good.

Yep, found out the hard way! Got my replacement sim yesterday and all is now okay again.
Other than that can't complain really they offer good deals which you can change to if you see a better one come along.

I recently moved the wife from an EE pay as you go to Plusnet sim only contract with a deal that was posted on here. The whole process was quick and smooth, including the retention of her old number. I would recommend Plusnet even though they are owned by BT!

The deal stays the same in my experience. I did think the price increased in March each year, however, their t&c's now state "9.2. A rolling monthly SIM only plan that you can end at any time on 30 days’ notice, will not be subject to an increase linked to RPI in March but we may change your monthly plan price and other charges under paragraph 26.1", so they do reserve the right to put the plan price up.

I fell for the mistake twice! Second time was my own fault for testing again but really inconvenient waiting for replacement Sims to arrive and get them activated. Not to mention loss of incoming calls and texts.
What sort of compo do they offer?
I just wish they, or the banks, would fix the damn fault!

It's a EE fault. BT move in, things turn to poo.

I've never had this on EE or BT, but I've moved to plus.net and I'm scared of adding a new recipient to my online banking now

Thanks for posting about the Lloyds issue. Have been suffering from it the last couple of weeks and had no idea what was causing it. Was thinking I'd have to buy a new phone as it happened to two of my Plusnet SIMS!

Am tempted by this. is there anything else about at the moment offering better value?
Yes? Those offers don't compare unless im mistaken. Can you spell it out for me.

I know it may be a stupid question but does the price stated inc vat or is that separate? Reason I ask is that I signed up for the prev deal of 5gb a month with 1500 mins and unlimited text at £10 pmth and they have charged 20% tax so is £12 not £10.....
