Thank you!!! Brilliant price. It's limited to buying once per person and I really want to book two nights.
Anyone know if there could be a problem signing into another account and booking the second night? Could the hotel take issue with this?

It's literally opposite the train station. When you say the old part do you mean the walls and the rows for shopping?

Chester is tiny, anywhere is only 10 minutes on foot

To get to the city centre by foot will take 10-15 minutes. Getting back to the hotel will take longer as you will be carrying a few more bags of shopping than you left the hotel with!. There is also a shoppers' bus from outside the railway station opposite the hotel. There will be a small charge for this, but the service is regular and will take you to the City centre. Usually the hotel has a pretty decent tourist map which will make things a little clearer.
Don't forget to go down to the river and just watch the world go by at your leisure.
Enjoy your visit to us in Chester.

Walking into the main shopping area and 'clock' is dead easy from this hotel. Literally walk out of the hotel and head away from the station, 5 mins walk the underpass and you come out pretty much next to Weatherspoons and a bit further Primark. It's a good location, shame it's not the weekend.
That said, the best hotel location wise near the shopping and walls is actually the Travelodge! It's basic but it's right opposite the amphitheatre and if you can get it when it's been the £9 or £11 rooms it's a bargain, cheaper than a taxi or train home for me!
