Amazon and Steam are scumbag companies? I've found they are some of the best when it comes pleasing customers but whatever you say. Unless you're just calling all companies scumbags, which is odd but okay..

You've not heard the stories about how awful Amazon are to their partners and staff? Oh, and there's that tax thing that came to light a while back. Valve aren't so bad, but it's a widely held belief Steam is now damaging the games industry on the whole by destroying or skewing the perceived value of games.

I don't see how anyone could be on this site and call either of these scumbags. You're here because you want something as cheap as possible - so you've already exposed your motive - unless you're going to claim that you vet each company before buying a deal? Sounds like hypocrisy to me!

It is a little - I buy stuff from them both - but that doesn't change the fact they are. Well, Amazon, anyway; it might be a little harsh to go that far with Valve. I'm really surprised anyone would find it a controversial statement.
