Great game, as cheap as I have seen the GOTY edition (which includes Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine expansions).

There is also a 10% discount if you're a monthly subscriber - making it £15.74

I wish this was the steam version, never had experience with GOG services, are they comparable to the steam?

Yes. Comparable to steam, origin, capsule....It Works fine + if you havent signed up to it yet, they still may be giving away some ancient classics for free.

The Gog client is fine. It's a client for drm-free games, so worth supporting. Gog is mostly for older games tho.

Far better, in fact you don't have to run them at all. You launch The Witcher and you get The Witcher, not an update pop-up, free trading cards or an offer to unlock in-game content.

For those wondering - this is probably the best game you will ever play. until Cdprojekt's next release of course.

I got the base and have been to busy to play it. are the dlc worth it. since it would be cheaper to buy this than a season pass later down the line

Yes, the DLC is worth it. It received rave reviews, with many stating that Blood and Wine alone was award worthy, and bigger than many other RPGs on its own - let alone the main game!
The expansion pass is currently £9.99 from the same store as this deal (humble store).

Newcomer to Witcher series, bought the GOTY version on PS4.. so far I've been blown away. The richness of the story in particular is a real revelation - even the side quests that are usually unashamed busywork in other RPGs are expansive and engaging in this. I've spent probably 60 hours on it so far and feel like I've got quite a way to go. If you listen to all the dialogue (you should) you could easily find yourself getting lost in all of it, and not actually completing many quests in a single sitting.
This is basically the standard by which other RPGs should be measured.

Same here. Is this the case for everyone? Shame really, the extra 10% off would probably have been enough to sway me on finally getting it.

I think GOG also will convert the base+expansion pass to GOTY version (it's still the same content).
