The Turtle Beach IMPACT 100 is not your everyday gaming keyboard, there's a beast under the keys! Neither mechanical nor traditional membrane, this hybrid uses smart-guided keycap sleeves to emulate the sensation of a mechanical keyboard, but at a fraction of the cost. Patented 30-key rollover with full anti-ghosting means fast-moving fingers can control games without the fear of missed moves and dropped instructions. And steel reinforced construction ensures long-lasting durability and the high-quality PBT keycaps wont wear down over time.

It will probably get some hate because it's not mechanical, but its a good deal. People assume you need mech KB's to be a pro-gamer, whereas in reality, any keyboard which is decent enough to allow multiple key presses at once is sufficient

Why would anyone complain that a keyboard that costs £12 is not mechanical?

I disagree. Although you don't need a mech kb to be a "pro-gamer" it can certainly help to a degree. I find reactions are generally just quicker than a membrane keyboard due to less key travel.
You know what they say though, once you go mech, you never go back.

Full anti-ghosting was what sold it for me.

Unless the Amazon picture is wrong, it looks as though it's US Layout.
Opening post
Membrane keyboard BUT keys are individually switched! Not many bells and whistles but what do you expect for £12.99?
Received 8/10 from Tom's hardware when it was $60 - cost £75 when newly released.
UK QWERTY layout.
