Dropped down again, most places are well over £40 for this set. Previously £34.99
Cheers Chanchi for messaging over after my last post at a fiver more. Totally appreciated.
Same code as befre HEADSET8
Looks good in terms of reviews and is targeted towards VR users, as different headsets could cause a problem with the fit on some HMDs, but this one has been designed to work around them. Considering sound is a big part of VR, a decent headset is worth looking into. (inb4 headphones aren't for your eyes )
These should keep clear of the PlayStation®VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, headsets. Unlike my current Astro A50s. I think it's pretty decent for the NC Mic and amp being in there too. Even if you're not planning on using for a HMD.

I use my official Playstation wireless headset with an audio cable for PSVR.. Are these likely to be any better/different?

I have both. These are amplified so sound meatier than the official set but they require charging, won't work at all if not. With all the elements of PSVR to pack away after a session I'm forever leaving them switched on and draining the battery. They do have a volume dial on them though which is handier for changing the volume than using the VR buttons.
The design is nothing special for PSVR, my beats fit over better than these. For non vr gaming just used as headphones they sound better than the wireless ones with much better bass but I prefer the wireless ones when used with ps4 for films and stuff.
Hope that helps, bit jumbled up response but was thinking of things as I went along!

I recently changed a different model of Turtle Beach (Z22) for the Corsair Void Wireless.
Both headsets fit over the HTC Vive without an issue. With the Turtle Beach headset though, the wire keeps getting in the way. It's much more comfortable with the wireless headset.

Should I buy these for the PS4 or are there better alternative? (not sure whether these are better for VR)
thanks

For the price these are the best ones I hove come across - not THE best, but certainly good enough - depends on your budget?

Thanks for the reply.
I didn't want to spend more than £30 (max) as I don't play on the ps4 for a lot of time, and I'm not currently playing online. Even £30 is probably too much for me but if they're decent I'd be happy to pay that much.
Main reason I want some is so that I can play without disturbing the rest of the household at night!! And that they're wireless.
A previous comment on an old deal on these mentioned that they hurt your head when not using VR. Do you find that they hurt your head after a while?

To be honest I have used them far more without the VR and they don't hurt my head at all. These aren't wireless though.
