Just left Asda in Wallasey. They had 2 of these on the shelf. Would have grabbed as such a bargain, but I already have more removable drives than I need!

Damn, I thought getting two for £29 each last week was good, but then no guarantee they would have dropped further. BOGOF was better than full price

Woodchurch store have about 6 or 7 of these in - they are in the lockable units behind the checkouts, so you'll have to ask for them. They also have about 5 of the 1Tb ones in the green packaging for the same price (£17). Be careful though cos they have some 2Tb in the green packaging and hey are scanning at £81. And I picked up a Canvio Desk 3Tb for £28.

Think the ones in the green packaging are Toshiba Canvio Basics 1Tb for £17

They had one of these in my local, it scanned at £53 though. No Canvio II's.

Some reviews mention this doesn't work well with Mac OS, something to do with the driver software. Can anyone confirm this? :man:

It's not a Connect II but I've been using a Canvio Basics for the past year or so that's been absolutely fine with my iMac.

Not sure about this drive but I always ran into issues when using external hard drives on Macs when trying to keep them compatible with PCs.
Fat32 worked without a problem but the file size limits proved problematic. exFAT solved this but had never ending errors and problems mounting the drive especially when going to and fro between Mac and PC!
Never had a problem since making the full switch and using Mac OS file system instead.
