Voting cold until they start paying their staff minimum wage and stop exploiting 'apprenticeships'.

I work at Subway during the summer and I get minimum wage and plenty of hours, never had a problem. If this is a personal thing may want to take it up with head office...

If people to choose to work there, then it's choice. Same goes for people who complain about working at Sports Direct.
Great price. Great deal. Heat.

We don't choose to work there we have to. I have worked at subway for 3 an a half years and applied for many jobs but non offer the same amount of hours you can get at subway. We work to barley get by

Don't like the type of meat they use because of its origins namely method of slaughter. Cold from me.

Wow, that mentality. "We have to work there". I wasn't aware that Subway staff were treated so badly they had loaded guns pointed at their heads when made to serve. I'll certainly be looking out for this next time I visit one.

Lad do you know how hard it is to get a job nowadays to support yourself to get you through life, I'm currently studying at university and in my final year an this is the only income I have and 1500 has to go towards rent and then I have to buy shopping, then there's Birthdays, (some have been missed because can't be afforded) commuting, stationary for university, hell I even have to pay for the **** paper from the university for my essays and reports. This is not the job I want for the rest of my life and I am trying hard and sacrificing a few years of my life in order to secure my future. I am thankful that we live in a country where there is minimum wage to afford general necessities but we are not all in the same boat to get the privilege to have doors to jobs just open up in front of us. So before you think about being a **** smart ass again, think about the underprivileged.

Im sorry to hear that you have to be in such a position but, it is still a choice. You are in a situation where you have chosen University over work. People should really think thoroughly about their decisions. You may have a passion for something which is why you are studying in uni but, if you are struggling to cope with your environment which is mentally effecting you, I suggest you drop out and climb a ladder from a low position. Besides this just a site for deals so just gives it heats up or down.

I do not believe it's a case of choosing university over work, but a step towards it. Am sorry, but you have no idea what ladder they have climbed to simply get into university in the first place. I can only assume uni is another step on the ladder to help get a job. If everyone dropped out for your reasons I believe the universities would be close to empty.
When at uni I worked at sports direct and I was happy to have a job that was flexible around uni and term dates despite its faults.

I doubt they use halal on pork meat, as pork is forbidden in Islam.
But chicken or beef, they probably do, halal meat is cheaper than non-halal.
