more a heads up because its way over priced for a PS2 game, but its square enix so can't say i'm surprised. but at least we might start too see other Square RPGS from the PS2 era.
But i expect it to go on sale within a couple of months as the PS2 titles usual do.

It is a decent enough game. To be honest though Star Ocean hasn't been amazing since the first one. I bought this on my PS2 at launch back in the day and really struggled to get through it.

LOVE this game and series, but got to say this is the weakest HD upgrade yet. It doesn't even look that good and even the text is looking bad!
Will I buy it though...yes haha, when it's on sale!
Edit, Woop my bad it isn't a remaster, just upscaled and emulated! That be why it doesn't look so good then lol

I am very biased but this is one of my fave games of all time. One playthrough was 300 hours for me with training and extra dungeons, plus getting all the trophies. You will enjoy it if you love sci-if/fantasy and RPG.

Absolutely amazing game but the 1st world (admittedly the majority of the 1st disk) does drag a fair bit plot-wise. Very rewarding & gratifying gameplay though!

Oh, Square and their remaster prices. Can remember buying it for like £29.99 on PS2 when it came out (those were the days)
