Good deal if you want to buy PSVR and Aim controller bundle. Works out saving of £45 considering their individual price.

It is such a lot of money to 'try' this new tech though...

Saw this yesterday but didn't post as I thought the Tesco direct deal which is PSVR Headset + Farpoint with aim controller + Resident Evil 7 was better value at £384.99.
Would still like £20 to come off that somewhere.
Otherwise this is still a good deal if Resident Evil is not wanted.

Yes, it's better deal if RE7 wanted. Tesco is also doing the same deal which I've posted.
It's all down to preferences tho.

it's a really good experience - problem with the ps4 version is that in a few years time it'll probably not work on the next gen of console...
Where as HTC Vive or Oculus Rift will always work for your PC & offers that next level immersion. If you've never actually played any i suggest trying the HTC Vive at one of those pop up VR shops (there was one in the bull ring in Birmingham) - it's such an incredible experience.

I'm with you, really worried I'll spend all this money then find I get motion sickness or something. I really want to try it out somewhere.
Could always give Game your money to try it

You are right - local Game was running a trial but was too self concious to stand in their cramped store trying out this new tech - I would def' like a go with it though - I do not doubt I would be impressed. However the price would still stop me taking one home.

Heat, good price if you're after the aim controller.
Which after using it yesterday, works really well and really makes Farpoint brilliant to play

Don't forget if you have a modern hi-res phone with a gyro-sensor, you can pick up a BoboVR Z4 for about £20 on Amazon with built-in headphones too. I use it for the VR cinema quite frequently, its amazing. There are some great free games for android/ios as well.

What games do you recommend? I was given a decent VR headset for my android phone, but all I seemed to find were rubbish "horror" games and rollercoaster Sims!

I have that headset. With elite dangerous and a joystick its epic running moonlight with Trinus handling head tracking.
Keep meaning to try alien and GTA V on it. I have tridef so should work.

They actually dropped the psvr price to £300 one time but trying to shift it with the aim controller for £375 trying to make it look like we are saving but actually psvr cost £300 + aim controller £70 at shopto lets say £75 equals roughly same amount as when they dropped the psvr price.

Who's "they" ? Sony certainly haven't made an official price drop, no point as the demand is so great

You're basically paying £305 for PSVR provided you happy to buy aim controller for £70. That's why I said good deal if you want to buy both.

Im in the same boat as a lot you, really would like to try this VR stuff but the price is killer for something I'll barely use. Haven't even turned my PS4 on for 5 months as it is!
