I'm looking to get my travel system as cheaply as possible so looking to buy bits individually if I can as it's cheaper so I need to get a Silver Cross Simplifix isofix base to go with the simplicity car seat that fits the Wayfarer, Pioneer, Wave, Surf 2 and Reflex prams. The cheapest I have found it for is £137.75 at Pramworld and it's £144.99 at Toys R Us and £145 at Mothercare. But they have it on offer at the moment in Boots for £99 which is an amazing price anyway but you also get the free Beauty Must Have's Box added automatically (Worth £50) plus free delivery to your home or store plus if you are in the parenting club, you get £9.90 back in advantage card points too! Obviously this deal isn't go to appeal to everyone but its a mega price and comes with a 2 year guarantee and with all the extras you get as well I'm really pleased.

Nothing hard about it. But the chance of it being done incorrectly is high. Just about every survey done shows baby seats are put in incorrectly or sub-optimally in a huge number of cases. Having had an anchored base for both of our children, I wouldn't compromise their safety and would completely endorse these devices..

I picked it up at Mothercare in their January sale for £65... mad price. This price is also good.

I found it very easy without it, didn't really see the point. Good price though.

Don't get what's so hard about placing your baby in his/her seat and taking all of the 15 seconds it takes to pull the seatbelt across?

Try belting the infant carrier up in a small three door car. You'll be mightily relieved for one of these, I know I was with our Maxi Cosi.
I don't think it would be quite so bad in the five door family wagon that replaced it, but it's still less hassle.

Totally agree any item that improves the safety of you little one and removes the possibility of mistakes should be looked upon as an essential and all modern cars should have iso fixings by law.
