Great headset, I have the original PC350's and they have been hammered. Pads will eventually start to peel, replace them with the velour pads of the HD 595 as they fit the PC 350 or PXC450 pads if you want tighter sound and a sweaty head again. The top band will eventually peel (after 5 years I think so this is in no way a quality issue) , oddly enough you can piddle it all off to reveal a microfibre material. The good thing is they are a lot less sweaty with the velor pads but this also allow more sound to leak out.
You can bass mod these to let them breath better by drilling a few small holes into the side of the driver case (once out of warranty of course)
150ohm headsets need a very good headphone amp to run them, the Asus R5E board boasts up to 600ohm headset amplification but had zero bass as it just couldn't power them, I ended up with a creative ZXr card and with this it will deafen you at 50% volume and vibrate your head with the bass.

This is an extremely good, long lasting headset.
Yes kids that is right!
Its the same price as your over hyped Turtle Beach pieces of plastic that lasts longer than a year or two and a mile ahead in sound quality.

My favorite thing about Turtle Beach headsets is the live monitoring. I wish more headsets would let you hear yourself, so as to avoid shouting.

Seems a decent price so it's fair to call this Hot, but worth noting that the consensus on quality is far from unanimous.
Reviews range from the very positive to positively scathing.
Better off getting the HyperX cloud II at this price.

I disagree moved from the cloud 2 to these and these are far superior. Suspect a lot of the poor reviews come from people not using a headphone amp which these really need to get the best out of them.

I would say these would easily beat the HyperX cloud II for overall sound quality. Good price.

Can these be used for Xbox 360, PS3, XBone, PS4 and PC or are they specific for 1?

No good for anything without a (proper) headphone amp built in or attached to it.

Yeah I have the Astro MixAmp. Was just curious on the platform it's built for.

Well it is aimed at gamers, gamers that want one hell of a headset. It is excellent for everything else but I did mod mine after a couple of years trying to get more bass out of them (succeeded) but then realised the amp I was using was holding them back so I got the Creative ZXr card to power it.
